I fell in love with this image the moment I saw Kimberly Brown color her. I love her big eyes and the flowers on her head.
I used Promarkers to color her and felt that she would have been colored better with Copic markers. I would have to find time to color another piece with Copics!
For the May lesson, I decided to use an existing Mermaid I have from Saturated Canary. The scales of the mermaid was challenging and time-consuming but I managed to do a decent job. Love it!
The first piece of work is always the most special one. You feel this wonderful sense of accomplishment at completing it, and marvel at how you managed to do it. Lol.
The hair needs improvement but it's not bad for a first-timer.
